NYC, NY, USA
Years:
2025
Project Type:
Thai restaurant

“Wang Lang NYC” — Neo-Oriental Contemporary Thai Elegance.
Key Design: Neo-Oriental, Chic, Elegence, Glamorous
Type: Thai-Asian restaurant
Wang Lang is a bold reinterpretation of Thai dining through the lens of modern oriental luxury. Drawing inspiration from Thai, Chinese, and Vietnamese design traditions, the space fuses cultural nostalgia with New York sophistication.
Rich maroon tones and quilted red leather tiles anchor the palette, symbolizing prosperity and passion, while custom CNC woodwork and golden accents add depth, texture, and craftsmanship. At the heart of the space, a sculptural bar wrapped in stitched leather glows beneath a striking amber-lit canopy, commanding attention. The interior balances ornate chandeliers with soft pendant lighting, casting a warm, cinematic glow across the room.
From cane-back chairs and velvet banquettes to polished marble surfaces and textured red walls, every detail is thoughtfully curated to blend heritage with contemporary flair. Wang Lang is more than a restaurant — it’s an immersive journey, a celebration of elegance, identity, and the soulful spirit of Southeast Asia, reimagined for the New York stage. Nostalgia, and that signature KOY magic.
