“Eat Thai” — Thai Flavor X Retro Chic.

Key Design: 90s, Mid-Century Modern, Lido, Vintage, Thai color pallette.

Type: Thai restaurant

Eat Thai reinvents the classic Thai dining experience through a vibrant blend of mid-century modern charm and 90s Lido-theater nostalgia. Bursting with personality and bold design choices, the space captures the essence of Thai hospitality with a fresh, retro twist. A signature teal coffered ceiling stretches across the restaurant, grounding the space with cinematic drama while reflecting the playful sophistication of Thai color palettes. The layout flows between cozy wooden booths, colorful tiled floors, and plush velvet banquettes in deep green, accented by modern orb lighting that channels vintage Thai cinemas and playful minimalism.

Decorative fretwork partitions in warm timber offer subtle separation, while pops of red, mustard, and teal create dynamic contrast throughout the space. The bar area is wrapped in rich maroon paneling, topped with a marble counter and crowned by a retro lightbox menu — reminiscent of old movie marquees — listing Thai classics in bold black lettering. Textural touches like natural wood, polished chrome legs, rattan details, and patterned ceramic tiles bring in layers of warmth, craft, and culture. Framed by nostalgic art and Thai-inspired window shutters, the overall mood is joyful, cheeky, and effortlessly stylish. Eat Thai is more than just a restaurant — it’s a celebration of cultural memory, retro aesthetics, and the timeless fun of eating Thai food with people you love.
